DONALD J. SUTHERLAND
PRESIDENT
Don has more than 40 years experience in the building industry. He spent four years as Director of Construction and Design for Bally Corporation in Chicago, designing and remodeling their restaurants, nationwide. He then became co-owner of four restaurants in Geneva Illinois, overseeing their construction, then managing daily operations. In 1991, Don, his wife and two daughters relocated to Siesta Key, Florida where he specialized in restaurants, commercial construction, and remodeling. In 2001, Don established Beyond Design Contracting to service the Gulf Coast of Florida in commercial & custom residential construction, design consulting, and construction management.
Don is a Vietnam Army veteran, and on his return home he designed and built a 50' trimaran in San Diego. He then set sail for two years, traveling throughout Central America. Don operated a charter business in the Perlas Islands in Panama and after returning home to California, he continued his career building theme restaurants and expanding his knowledge of the construction industry.
DAVID P. TURGEON
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
Dave brings more than 30 years of construction experience to Beyond Design. He has been an integral part of the organization since 2002, completing more than 20 million dollars in projects. Dave's previous experience includes 13 years as Project Manager for a marble construction company and three years field experience for Florida Power & Light. Dave is an avid deep sea fisherman and ranked IFA #6 in the State of Florida Fishing Championship. If he is not busy at work, Dave can always be found with his wife out on the water reeling in and tossing back loads of fish.

ACCOUNTING CONSULTANT
Ann has been an integral associate of Beyond Design Contracting since it opened. With more than 25 years of financial experience, she has an extensive background in construction cost accounting. Her weekly ability to access completed job progress with percentage of completion coupled with her expertise in AIA documentation has made her a major asset to the functionality of our business.
